Là où les vagues sont d’or: a 2nd single from “Bruissement boréal”

Discover Là où les vagues sont d’or, a 2nd single from the album Bruissement boréal from Marie-Véronique Bourque and Christine Tassan. This composition of Marie-Véronique is inspired by the natural sounds of Saskatchewan and Quebec, where the two musicians respectively reside. The piece Là où les vagues sont d’or, composed by Marie-Véronique Bourque, draws inspiration from the golden wheat swaying in the wind across the Saskatchewan plains. The vast fields stretching as far as the eye can see resemble an ocean, where the waves are made of gold. The composition mirrors the movement of the wheat in a waltz with shifting rhythms. Initially introduced through a field recording, the sound of the wheat is then echoed by the flute and later by the guitar. The atmosphere of the piece is one of reassurance, calm, and well-being. Là où les vagues sont d’or was recognized as a semifinalist in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition (ISC).

The album Bruissement boréal will be released on May 9 on all digital platforms and in physical version on Bandcamp. You can already add it to your playlists and pre-order it here: https://christinetassan.com/bruissement-boreal/
