A super musical summer for Christine Tassan!

A super musical summer in the works for Christine Tassan! Finally ! The Christine Tassan and les Imposteures group will be very busy this summer. On June 24, the group will play a double header in Québec City and close by: a show at the Festival Jazz en Juin at noon in Québec and another show in the evening at L’Espace Félix Leclerc, this one at l’île d’Orléans. The group is very happy and touched to play “Entre Félix et Django” at the mythical island of Félix, Île d’Orléan of course! On June 25, the group will play in St-Hyacinthe (private event) then on June 26 at Grenville-sur-la-Rouge. The summer shows will continue with a jaunt to the United States at Folk Fest in Butte, Montana from July 8-12, then on to British Columbia at Harrison Spring on July 15 and at the Vancouver Folk Fest on July 16-17. Back to the States for the Lowell Folk Fest in Massachusetts on July 30 and 31. In August, Les Imposteures will tour in Quebec: Joliette (August 2), St-Gabriel-de-Brandon (August 25), and Verchères (August 31).

In addition, Christine will also perform her project “Voyage intérieur” in quintet formation at l’Islet on July 24 and at Mont-Tremblant on September 5. Also noteworthy, the various shows in the duo and trio format. In duo with Ron Ledoux on June 28, July 23 and August 28 in Montreal. Also a duo with Francis Tétu June 30, with Geneviève Neuville July 26 and with Laura Guilbault August 26, all in Montreal. In a trio with Sonia Johnson and Patricia Deslaurier on August 27 at the Sutton Jazz Festival and with Martine Gaumond and Blanche Baillargeon on September 10 at Entrelacs.
